King Simba is considered a Giant German Shepherd due to his size. His parents are also Giant GSDs. Simba is stunning and attracts compliments and attention everywhere he goes. Simba knows he is a working bloodline and has assigned several jobs to himself to include: scaring away birds and planes so they do not come into his yard; retrieve and be ready for the next ball throw (he never tires); sit in the front yard and watch all activity (the neighborhood is his TV); and provide frequent checks and status of all his pack members (us, granny, his mate Nala, two cats, and a dachshund). Simba is loyal, obedient, has a strong desire to be with his people, is incredibly kind to children and the elderly, and is a wonderful companion.

In addition to his wonderful traits and desirable qualities, we are proud of Simba and his OFA certification of EXCELLENT for his hips and Normal elbows. He is DM N/N and cardiac normal. He is clear of 219 genetic conditions as tested by Embark. He is a high quality Sire and an excellent choice for our breeding program. We are fortunate to be part of his life and help with the preservation of this strong working line GSD.
